Memorial of the Great Scourge
A statue in the likeness of Princess Laiynore, fashioned from granite with flora for hair. It was erected to not only remind the Elves of the atrocities of slavery but also that those atrocities were overcome through love. The statue holds her arms as if reaching for the hand of a loved one. That loved one would have been the human lover Sir Brody, also known as the first Blue Knight.
It is believed that the flowers that bloom in her hair have a magical connection to the relationship between Quiyarus and Stencoia. Should the flowers ever wilt then the Elves will send emissaries to nurture a stronger bond with the Humans. Were those flowers to die altogether, than they would prepare for war.
Isilynor - Fields of Dysphoria
A protected field of rare flowers called Cheruandrews. The flowers have white stalks with orange petals and crimson centers. They bloom all year with the exception of a single moon cycle in the middle of spring. During this cycle the flowers wither losing their petals, leaving only the stark white stems and leaves. This stage is called the "hollowing".
The scent of these unique flowers is very comforting. Their petals are so soft that when touched by a breeze it sounds as if the Cheruandrews are whispering. Additionally, they put off a moderate amount of ambient heat. These unique attributes lull many unsuspecting wanderers into a state of deep, dreamers sleep. A sleep that has led many to their demise, for it is an endless slumber. Those that succumb to it perish. Their carcasses becoming the food that fertilizes this mystical field.
Bridge of Bones
A bridge built from the remains of Centaur, Draconian and Human would be slavers. While considerably macabre, it serves as a strong warning to those that would enter Quiyarus for nefarious reasons. Upon its construction the Queen had stated that: "The love for (their) people must shine brighter than the love that the lesser races have for slavery."
Spanning the Elliphar River, the bright white of the bone structure contrasts sharply with the surrounding environment. The Elliphar flows through lush green fields and meadows. The road that crosses the bridge is paved with cobblestone. The bridge itself sports many vines that blossom from early spring to mid autumn with a dark blue flower that is slightly iridescent.
Kriswarin Elas (Tree of Dreams)
An ancient tree found in the courtyard of the Magceren Temple. It is believed that the tree blesses worthy elves with the gift of prophecy. For this reason the Caeda watch over the tree, keeping all other races from it. The temple itself is restricted from other races, but the diligence of the courtyard guards is not to be trifled with.
The tree is enormous, standing at about two hundred and forty hands tall. It has thin, smooth greyish-blue bark with silver and white foliage. The leaves are metallic in appearance on the top and have a velvety white underneath. It has white flowers with light blue centers that blossom in the winter. Interestingly, the flowers only open at night.
